Aware is now part of Aeon: what it means for you

Aware is now part of Aeon. Here's what it means for your Aware account, your health data and your subscription, and the one thing to confirm.

You might have seen our email already (if not, it may be hiding in your spam folder). Aware is now part of Aeon. We know news like this can raise questions, especially about your health data, so here's what it means for you.

The short version: if you have an Aware account, there's one thing to confirm. If you don't, there's nothing you need to do.

Why Aware is now part of Aeon

Preventive health only helps if people can actually use it: easy to access, easy to understand, and with a clear next step. Aware and Aeon have been working towards that from two different directions.

Aware built blood diagnostics in Germany that work on a repeat basis, with connected laboratories, more than 40 draw locations across Germany, and results you can read without a medical degree. Aeon is building a preventive health platform that brings different kinds of health data together and reads them over time.

Together, we can offer a fuller picture than either of us could alone. And the team behind Aware is still here, working on the same goal: making preventive health accessible and actionable for everyone.

What this means for you

Find the situation that fits you.

You have an Aware account, a subscription or health data with us. You'll have received an email explaining what happens to your data. It's all about your consent: your health data is only transferred if you explicitly agree. Can't find the email? No problem. Log in to the Aware app or on the web and confirm your choices directly in your account.

You never created an account. You don't need to do anything. We don't hold any health data for you, so there's nothing to confirm.

You'd like to hear what Aeon is working on. You can sign up for updates. It's completely optional, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Aware keeps running, just as you know it

aware.app stays online, and the app stays in the stores. Your results stay where they are, booked appointments still stand, and your subscription continues.

Once you've confirmed your consent choices, you can keep using Aware as usual, in the app or on the web. There's nothing to do on Aeon's website, and no new account to create.

If anything changes later, we'll tell you first.

What we're working on

We're not sharing dates, prices or availability yet, because we don't want to announce anything before it's settled. But we can share the direction: we're working on new test packages, AI-supported analysis of your results, doctor consultations about your values, and more comprehensive check-ups.

The idea behind all of it is simple: helping you keep track of your health over time, rather than looking at single values in isolation. We'll share more as soon as plans are confirmed.

You can find out more about Aeon at aeon.life.

Aware and Aeon: your questions

Do I need to do anything now?

Only if you have an Aware account, a subscription or health data with us. If so, just confirm your consent once, in the Aware app or on the web. If you never created an account, you don't need to do anything.

I didn't get an email. What now?

Check your spam and promotions folders first. But you don't have to wait for the email: log in to the Aware app or on the web and confirm your consent directly in your account. If something doesn't work, write to aware@aeon.life and we'll help.

What happens to my blood values and results?

Your health data is only transferred with your explicit consent. If you don't confirm, nothing is transferred. The email and the consent page in your account explain exactly what's transferred and why.

Does anything change for my subscription, appointments or draw locations?

Nothing changes right now. Your subscription continues, booked appointments still stand, and you can go for your blood draw as usual. If anything changes later, we'll let you know in advance.

Do I need to create a new account with Aeon?

No. Just keep logging in to Aware, in the app or at aware.app. There's nothing to do on Aeon's website.
